Horses Free to Good Homes
It is becoming ever increasingly common to see equines advertised as 'Free to Good Home'.
Many of these horses and ponies tend to be unrideable for one reason or another, either through age, old injuries
or have been labelled 'problem horses'. Unfortunately some of these animals tend to be passed from home to home further impounding any issues.
Please, if you are considering re-homing a free equine, be absolutely honest with yourself for both your own and the horse's sake about your abilities, and the ongoing commitment you are able to offer. Also consider having the horse vetted for any potential hidden issues.
If you are offering an equine as 'Free', please thoroughly check out the new home and owner, just as you would for
any top discipline horse.
